  • Is there a Kiwi PC technician near me?

         Currently we are servicing the Auckland area with plans of expanding to other cities soon.
         Please let us know what area you are in so we can notify you when we are there.

 

  • What can I expect of my technician?

          Kiwi PC technicians will provide you with a diagnosis and possible solutions to the
          problem you are experiencing with you computer, along with an estimate of the time it
          will take.

 

  • How do I book a Kiwi PC technician?

          Call us on 0800 MY PC MATE, one of our team members will happily assist you.

 

  • What hours is Kiwi PC open?

          For our non-members our regular service hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. , any appointments
          outside regular service hours will incur an additional cost.
          For our members who have signed up to one of our KiwiCare plans, we are available
          from 8a.m. – 10 p.m.

  • Can I get a fixed price for fixing a problem?

          Due to the nature of I.T. , it is difficult to provide the exact amount of time required to
          resolve a problem or provide a particular service. Rest assured that we will provide you
          with our services in the fastest time possible without affecting our quality of service.
          We will be your cost effective and quality service solution.

 

  • Should I do a Backup before the technician arrives?

          YES, please ensure that a backup has been done or advise our technician that one is
          needed.
          We do not want you to lose any of your important data.

 

  • Can I leave the technician to work on his own?

          NO, for YOUR safety and security we will need an adult 18+ available on site with the
          technician. If no adult is available, technician will cancel the appointment and a charge of
          $20 will be incurred.

 

  • What if I want to cancel an appointment?

          Cancellation of any appointment must be advised to Kiwi PC no later than 6 pm on the
          working day prior to the day of the appointment
or a $20 cancellation fee will be
          assessed.

 

  • What if the technician cannot fix the problem?

          We would like to say that this is impossible, but in the rare occasion that this happens we
          run a NO FIX NO FEE Policy.

 

  • Does the KiwiCare plan monthly charge include charges for work done by the technicians?

          NO, KiwiCare plan charges are separate from Kiwi PC’s hourly service charges.
          KiwiCare plan charges ONLY entitle Kiwi PC clients to the discounted Kiwi PC service
          charges in accordance with the specific plan agreed upon and its related priority services.

 

  • When do I pay you?

          We ask that you settle up charges at the end of the appointment.
